Mr. Günay Kaya has been in touch in Nepal and Bangladesh with a delegation accompanying him. Kaya, who met with leading labour organizations in Nepal and Bangladesh, exchanged ideas about working life. Kaya also visited the camps where the Rohingya Muslims were located and get information about the situation in the region.

Bilateral Cooperation Agreement has been signed with Nepal’s Labour Organizations
Mr. Kaya first visited the Ministery of Labour and met with Minister Dilly Chaudhary. Afterwards, Kaya met with leading labour organizations in Nepal and Bangladesh and shared views about working life. Memur-Sen Delegation visited the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) and met with President Bishnu Rimal here. During the meeting, GEFONT President Bishnu Rimal welcomed everyone and briefed about GEFONT and its activities. They also visited the GEFONT Policy Institute & Trade Union School in Anamnagar. Later on Bilateral Cooperation Agreement signed between GEFONT and Memur-Sen.
Another visits was held to the Nepal Trade Union Congress (NTUC). Nepal Trade Union Congress and Turkey Trade Union Memur-Sen came into cooperation agreement here. The agreement was signed by Nepal Trade Union Congress President Mr. Khila Nath Dahal and Deputy President of Memur-Sen Mr. Günay Kaya.
Third visits was held to the All Nepal Trade Union Federation (ANTUF). Acting President of ANTUF, Ganesh Regmi voiced the importance of sharing the experiences of labour organizations with each other. Afterwards, The bilateral cooperation agreement was signed between Memur-Sen and ANTUF.
During their visits in Nepal, Memur-Sen Delegation also visited some umbrella organizations such as Joint Trade Union Coordination Center (JTUCC) and South Asian Regional Trade Union Council (SARTUC).
Visits of Labour Organizations in Bangladesh
After Nepal, Memur-Sen Delegation met with the leading labour organization of Bangladesh.Memur-Sen first came together with Bangladesh Free Trade Union Congress (BFTUC) Secreteray-General Repon Chowdury and got information about labour situations and working life in Bangladesh. Afterwards, second visits was made to the Bangladesh Labour Federation (BLF).
Rohingya Muslims not forgotten
After an important visit to the labor organizations in Bangladesh, Kaya and the accompanying delegation did not forget the Rohingya Muslims who escaped from Myanmar's persecution and took refuge in Bangladesh.Memur-Sen delegation, who visited the camps where the Rohingyas lived, distributed foods and shelters to 1500 families.
