Memur-Sen participated in a regional seminar organized by Independent and Autonomous Unions of Macedonia (UNASM) entitled "Violence at Workplace: What is the Role of the trade unions to deal with this phenomenon."

Mr. Ali YALÇIN who speaks at the 2nd International Conference of Professional Institutions & Trade Unions said that we live in such an age when pain even is transformed into a weapon. Imperialism and its extension Zionism transform everything what it is about humanity into a weapon and making them an instrument of the massacre.

Memur-Sen and Eğitim-Bir-Sen President Mr. YALÇIN in his speech describe the aim of the certificate program as exchange of ideas and experiences. Yalçın said "You came from different countries with different cultures and customs. It is a big gain for us to be familiar with your cultures. In this world everything has its own way of speech and of course trade unionists also have an international language. The thing which brings us together it's our common efforts."

Levent Uslu, Vice President of the Memur-Sen, attended the Symposium on "Press and Information Power is Over the Weapon Power" organized by the International Confederation of Arab Trade Unions (ICATU) held in Baghdad, Iraq, where he spoke to the labourers of the Arab World. Uslu; "Labour movements, has very large functions and there is no nation, religion and sect of tears and sweats.

Mr. Günay Kaya has been in touch in Nepal and Bangladesh with a delegation accompanying.

The second of the "International Training on Trade Unionism and Social Policy Certificate Program" has begun in Ankara by participating with 25 different confederations from 23 different countries. Today they came together in the welcome brunch with the President of the Memur-Sen. In the program, addressing the participants Mr. Yalçın said that "If we provide justice in the distribution of income, most tragedies like wars, conflicts etc. in the world will be removed. He also said that the happiness of the world is actually going through our struggle."

10th European Regional Meeting of the ILO held in Istanbul was completed with the reports' announcement.

Mr. Yalçın who takes part as a speaker in the panel of the ILO 10th European Regional Meeting says that ‘the theory of scarce resources and unlimited needs' is wrong. He also added that if justice is strengthened, resources would not deplete and needs would be easily affordable.
