Fourth period collective agreement negotiations, which interest more than 5 million people, has been concluded. The president of the public service commission and Memur-Sen, Mr. Ali Yalçın, accepted the offer made by the Public Employers' Committee. The offer consists of salary raise of 4%+3,5% for 2018 and 4%+5% for 2019. Ali Yalçın hoped that this result brings happiness to Turkey. The agreement was signed by the Public Employers' Committee President Ms. Jülide SARIEROĞLU (Minister of Labour and Social Security) and the president of the public service commission Mr. Ali YALÇIN, who is president of the eleven authorized trade unions affiliated to Memur-Sen were present at the signature ceremony.
The Officer-Sen organizations were protesting throughout the country against the Zionist Israeli regime's Friday prayer ban in the Masjid al-Aqsa. In the press releases on the 81 cities, a message was given that Al-Quds and Masjid al-Aqsa are the honour of Muslims and the cruelty was warned.
President of the Memur-Sen Confederation Ali Yalçın, participated in a workshop on "Working Security" organized by UNASM in Macedonia. During the workshop, attended by the presidents of labor unions from Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia and Bulgaria, Yalçın made a presentation entitled "Work and Joblessness". Among the participants was the representative of the Macedonian Minister of Labor.

A high-level Memur-Sen delegation, led by its president, Ali Yalçin, composed of experts and advisers, took part in the 106th International Labor Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 5 to 16 June 2017. This year again, more than 5000 delegates from around the world were present to discuss the main issues in the world of work. From issues of equitable and effective governance of labor migration to the worst forms of child labor, to women's work and fair recruitment processes, the topics of discussion have not failed. The goal is to achieve decent work, in compliance with the International Labor Organization (ILO) standards and conventions.
